28th January – Update

At present we have temporarily closed the sites, we are regularly reviewing the situation and will be reopen as soon as we can. We are offering remote support the main Phone Line is active Monday-Friday 10am-4pm.

We are able to issue remote Food Vouchers, remote learning sessions with learn My Way, remote English Support. We are able to support Families with some additional food parcels and wellbeing support. Volunteer support if you would like to volunteer or if you need volunteers please contact us.

THE HUB in the Victoria Shopping Plaza will still be open, The Hub in Sheburyness will be closed over the lockdown period.

The Hub Victoria will operate Monday-Friday 10am-12pm & 1pm-4pm

  • The Hub will continue to provide its IT and Digital services to the community.
  • The Hub project crossing bridges support group will continue to operate on Wednesdays supporting people’s wellbeing through lockdown.
  • The Hub will issue food vouchers you can call 01702 611199 or go to the Victoria Hub.
  • The project Get the kids out is providing support groups for young people and families struggling with lockdown call 01702 611199.

The Hub in Victoria is back!

The Victoria Hub is now open

We have made changes to the service and following government guidelines there are restrictions on people able to use the centre at one time.

Free computer use is available we have a maximum of three computers available on the site. We are operating a drop-in basis but, with increased demand time limits will be applied.  You can book to reserve a slot to use the computer these slots will be 1-hour slots.

We have developed remote support for the Hub, you can learn with us at home. We are able to help with online learning using video calls for our Learn my way and Make it click program please call to find out more 01702 611199.





Due to the impact of COVID19, for the safety of our Clients, Volunteers and Staff the Hub Project will temporarily close from 19/03/2020 -20/04/2020 . We will review the situation after this date and hope we can reinstate our services after the 20th April.

Volunteer Southend will be active, you can register online, and we will endeavour to match people. Please bear in mind due to the outbreak, expect delays in responses from organisations as many will be severely affected and may not be operating at present.
